Making the decision to relocate to another city, state, or even country can be difficult. At Randolph & Associates, we're here to help with the process of changing jobs/careers and assisting qualified candidates in their relocation process.
We are experienced, have the time to commit, and the resources to help you find the right position. Through our national and international partners, our reach extends across the U.S. and abroad.
We occasionally receive resumes and requests from individuals currently residing outside the United States. Please be advised, until proper working status and residency has been secured we are rarely able to find employment for such individuals.
We suggest that before you consider relocation, you conduct your own preliminary research in the following six areas:
Explore your industry and research the current status of the market. If your skills are in demand and your industry is booming, then you may expect a shorter timeline with a placement.
A different climate and culture can adversely affect people who may not be accustomed to the new environment. Consider these factors when deciding your preferences before initiating your relocation search.
Researching which necessary working papers and legal documents when moving to a new country is the first step to foreign relocation. We advise you to research what to expect as a non-citizen.
Most hiring companies have urgent needs that will not allow for the additional time and possible expense that relocation may entail. Depending on your skill set and the current demand for your experience, there may be exceptional instances where a company will be willing to consider candidates from afar. We can help with the contract or temporary positions until you find the perfect permanent position.
A company may consider conducting the initial interviews by telephone, making the arrangements for you to come in person to an interview, and possibly assisting with moving costs. When conducting a search, we will assist you through the process of arranging interviews by phone or in person.
It is important to research the costs associated with moving. Explore the cost of living and assess how it differs from your current situation. Develop an understanding of how far your expected salary will go in this market.
